Hi! I’m Lauren (she/her). I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
I help individuals address anxiety, depression, substance use, life transitions, childhood emotional wounds, and heal historic and current trauma. I also have a particular interest in general chronic pain, endometriosis, and chronic pelvic pain as I have lived experiences with these conditions.
I approach my work from a trauma-informed lens and seek to integrate mind and body through a diverse therapeutic approach - drawing primarily upon somatic, relational, neuroscience, and attachment-based therapies.
When I’m not practicing therapy, I spend as much time as possible in the forest where I find connection to nature and respite from the busyness of the city. I’m a traveler and love to explore the world whenever the opportunity presents! I’m a dog-mama, wife, daughter, sister, and friend and I deeply enjoy spending time with those I love.
I’m honoured to do this profoundly meaningful work and I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you!
